Brilliant beings of light encircle me. Their backs are towards me and each
one is carrying a sword long in stature and shape. The being’s size makes
me tremble inside. Am I dead? Am I in heaven or have I been ripped down
by this monster so much that I have simply become delusional?
I put my hand to my head and wind up with a fist full of blood reminding me that I
am very much alive and this recollection makes the fear run through me yet
again. Perhaps they sense my terror or perhaps they pity my wounded
flesh, yet the greatest of these beings calms me with his soft, deep voice,
"Fear not. You are safe now. The demon will not be back. The Lord is
with you and will protect you." As he speaks, the beings turn toward me and
in slow harmony draw their mighty swords one by one over my body. I
feel a calm run through my soul, a protection so great that I have come to
believe that even then, I knew I would need to pursue it if it were to
ever leave me. As their swords touch, I see an inscription in one of the
beings swords and then... darkness.
