The 6th Annual Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic was held on November 11th and 12th, 2005 and proved to be an event unlike any other in Flagler Beach.

The event kicked-off on friday night with an remarkable slideshow by world renowned photographers Aaron Chang and Anthony Neste and the captivating music of Braddigan with over six hundred in attendance. All proceeds went toward the Tommy Tant Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Flagler County Resource Center who feeds those in need in Flagler County. The event was created by pro-surfer Will Tant in loving memory of his brother, Tommy. On Saturday, the contest drew over 150 surf applications from pros and amateurs alike, some forty or fifty volunteers, and hundreds of spectators to share in the most successful Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic yet to date.
